Growing and Changing

The triplets had their 18-month check-up. Everyone is doing great. Nora and Eva weighed 22 pounds, Parks weighed 23 lbs 5oz. They are all on the charts for weight! They are having so much fun playing and interacting. My favorite new thing is watching them play Ring-Around-The-Rosie together. They are sad when we drop Will off at preschool, and happy when he comes home. All three seem to be getting a little better with their napping. I should have this gig down by the time they start Kindergarden.

Here is a little info about each:

Eva is the most cuddly of the triplets. She will often come up out of the blue and give you a hug. She loves doing puzzles, and is great with colors and shapes. She puts her puzzles together so quickly that if Nora or Parks take too long or make a mistake, she jumps in to help by impatiently pushing them out of the way and finishing it for them.

Nora loves climbing, and "dressing" herself. She loves putting her socks on and taking them off. She also loves to take her pants off and run around without them. On rare occasions she will even put them back on. She has grown tremendously in confidence since she has recently discovered that she is able to climb up on the kitchen table and swing from the light fixture. And...although she has quickly gotten over her fear of strangers, I love that she is still, very much, a Momma's girl.
Parks loves playing ball, and being read to. He is such a such a happy guy. He has started asking for books by name. For Go Dog Go, he will say "GO GO," for Rainbow Rob, "ROB," etc. He is a little chatter box. He loves jumping on furniture and kissing his sisters.
Will is enjoying 4 year old basketball on Saturdays at the YMCA, going to friends birthday parties, and attending preschool three days a week. He continues to crack us up with the funny things he says.
While pretending to play a football game he asked us, "Which team are you cheering for, Green Day, or the Biebers?"
While shopping at Scheels an employee announced over the loud speaker, "Joe Smith, your party is waiting for you by the ferris wheel." Will turned to me and said, "HEY MOM! There is a PARTY at the FERRIS WHEEL!"
Although life is busy, I wouldn't change a thing.

  1. Great update! The photos are fun and love the "ring around the rosie" picture. Once the babies get over the never ending cold/fevers, we'll have to do something fun! Life is good.
